Angeline Lue-van den Broecke is the Director of Global Business Development and Marketing at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) which is part of ASM Global, the world’s leading a venue management and services company that spans five continents.
Her key areas of expertise are in global business development and acquisition, strategic marketing and organisational & destination growth initiatives as well as partnership and alliance engagement models, having worked extensively in both the public and private sector, and providing specialist input on business events to the Malaysian Government and previously to the South African Government.
She represents the Centre at several global industry forums and is on the Board of Directors of of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and a past member of the Professional Conference Management Association (PCMA) Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Board.
Under her leadership the Centre has won several marketing and innovation awards the most recent being the 2020 ICCA Best Marketing Award for Leadership in Transformation.
Proudly South African, she is an award winner of the 2019 3SMedia Group Meetings Magazine Top Women in MICE Award which was established to recognise and acknowledge remarkable woman making an exceptional difference to or industry on daily basis.
