Daniel Chong
Dr Daniel Chong, an Associate Professor cum Associate Dean for International with more than 16 years of experience in hospitality training and education. He has a French degree in tourism and hospitality; an Australian Master of Business Administration (MBA); and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with major in sustainable branding under his belt. He is a certified hotelier, sommelier, and barista who is actively involved in Malaysia's food and beverage industry through industrial projects and continuing education. He previously worked as a F&B operation manager, F&B consultant, and training manager at various multinational hotel groups, multinational franchised restaurants, and a hospitality consulting firm. Besides teaching, Dr Daniel Chong is also actively involved in research and has published research articles pertaining to the challenges and opportunities faced by the tourism and hospitality industry in Asia. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) and Tourism Educators Association of Malaysia (TEAM).

It’s crucial to understand their thought process, bridge the gap to retain and entice these youngsters to flourish our business events industry.
